I purchased a Mercedes V Class from Oscar Jacobs Motors back in March 19 and dealt with Mike Ashmore. The company was absolutely fantastic with me, as I was purchasing the vehicle for business use and needed to arrange my finance. They were so accommodating, held the vehicle for a number of weeks for me and did not ask or take a deposit from me. There was no pushy sales tactics at all. Now I can assure you no other company would do that for you! I drove down to Birmingham to collect the car and met both Mike and Martin who were very friendly and welcoming. The vehicle was exactly as advertised, nothing hidden and I found the company to be very open and transparent. I received a 6 months warranty with the vehicle, which incidentally I have had to use for an exhaust sensor. To be fair it is a known manufacturing fault with the vehicle however when I approached Mike about this he immediately booked the vehicle into my local Mercedes dealers and the vehicle was fixed, no push back at all from Oscar Jacobs. I absolutely would recommend this company to everyone and I will certainly approach them in future when I am looking to purchase another business vehicle next year. My vehicle has been a hit with my clients and is exactly what I was looking for, a very happy customer.

The quality of the service from beginning (Martin taking a call on holiday, and within 10 minutes Mike calling me back), to the hand over was exemplary. They make an excellent team who are knowledgible about the specification of their cars and were responsive to my questions at all times. Their attention to detail on all aspects was reassuring and they were informative about every stage of the preparation of the car and handover. Martin and Mike only source the very best vehicles and specs of their type. That avoids spending hours looking for the “right vehicle” (they have done that work already) and it takes the risk out of buying. The car was beautifully prepared and detailed for collection. I would just like to say thank you for your help in sorting the issue on my M6. After purchasing the car from you in late 2016, you have been extremely helpful throughout the purchase and after sales support of my vehicle. We all know that things go wrong with cars now and again. When this happens – most dealers like to bury their head in the sand. I’ve been extremely impressed by the manner in which Oscar Jacobs has dealt with the (relatively minor) headlight issue on my car. When I informed OJ of the problem, Martin organised for the issue to be rectified at a BMW main dealer and supplied a very nice courtesy car and driver to deal with the transport at his own cost. The turnaround was extremely prompt and the issue was sorted over a weekend. I can’t speak highly enough of the quality of service and product from Oscar Jacobs – I would not hesitate placing my business with them in the future.
