The Porsche 911 has been around for decades but it is still one of the most recognisable sports cars in the world today. The 480 bhp flat six twin turbo charged engine on the Carrera 4 GTS is a masterpiece of engineering which in turn is married to a sublime 8 speed PDK automatic gearbox which handles all of the power and fury the engine throws at it with ease. The handling is class leading, great weighted steering and extremely sure footed, it makes for a thrilling drive on winding roads with the computer controlling the 4 wheel drive system.
The chassis is outstanding which in fact is the same as the 911 Turbo and the steel brakes are also from the Turbo. The interior, Porsche have moved up to another level, the sat nav is the visual aspect you will first notice with its longer and wider screen than the (991) and beautifully crafted buttons and switches make this car a satisfying place to be. At the turn of a button to Sport Plus mode the exhaust valves open the exhaust sound is something you would expect to match the pace you are travelling.
