Mercedes AMG division worked really hard in turning the A class hatchback into a true (albeit small engined for AMG) quick, precise and focused hot hatch. The power comes from a beautiful crafted 2.0 litre Turbocharged engine that can achieve a 0-62mph sprint in sub 5 seconds with as much torque available through the rev range as you desire. All this power is managed by a silky smooth 7-speed automatic dual clutch gearbox that puts the 303bhp to all 4 wheels. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the A35 AMG, because looks can be deceiving. The interior is just what you would expect from a Premium Plus Mercedes, great seating position and instruments all within easy reach. The driving experience is true AMG, with a snarling exhaust, plenty of fire power on tap and assured handling.
