The BMW M3 has always been a very desirable car since its launch in the 1980’s. Its muscular bulge on the bonnet blown wheel arches and quad exhausts it certainly lives up to the sum of its parts. The drive is exceptional with plenty of grunt throughout the rev range but with that said its tame and easy to drive through town with light steering and great visibility from the cockpit but start to explore the drive modes it can turn into a snarling V8 beast. The introduction of a 4.0 litre V8 which will rev beyond 8,000 rpm is a total masterpiece and couple it to a 7-speed auto gearbox which you can alter the ferocity of the changes by a simple press of a button you start to get the picture that this is a really special car, with a 0-62mph sprint achieved in sub 5 seconds. The handling is sublime with positive input from the steering and a near flawless chassis the BMW M3 Coupe is as fun to drive as it is to look at.
