Born in March 2013 and finished in the beautiful colour combination of Thunder Grey Metallic with Recaro Sports Seats in Dinamica/Leather with Red stitching and Piano interior trim.
Since the first MINI was launched in 1959, the car has been lovingly owned by celebrities, sports stars and the everyday person. From Enzo Ferrari (yes he did own a MINI) Steve McQueen to the Beatles the MINI has held a special place in Britain’s motoring heritage.
In 2013 with the launch of the MINI John Cooper Works GP2 the gauntlet was thrown done to other hot hatch competitors. The MINI Cooper S is a fast and seriously feisty little car, but the GP2 upped the bar in terms of performance and handling. The power plant is a 1.6 litre 4-cylinder Turbo charged engine producing 215bhp and married to a 6-speed manual gearbox which will do a 0-62mph dash in 6.3 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 150mph the steering is scalpel sharp and uber agile and the ride is breathtakingly excellent.
